We Make London is a sort of craft fair that will be held at The American Church in Tottenham Court Rd on 6 December. It’s ’sort of’ a craft fair because check out that line up! These are not your kitten-sweater-wearing crafters. I’m venturing there will be nary an acrylic felt and faux fur Christmas stocking decked with grinning applique Santas in sight.
Rather, We Make London is a brilliant showcase of largely UK-based hand-crafting talent, who can usually only be found on the likes of Etsy or Folksy. There will be jewellery, bags, reappropriated vintage, monsters, maybe even some yarn… It’s going to be awesome!
Plus, Katie of What Katie Does will be there, which alone is worth the trip up.
There will definitely be handspun yarn there – I’ve got a big bag full of it to bring!
