Yesterday I met up with my sister for the first time since she told me that she is pregnant!
I don’t see her very often as she lives up north, but she treated her husband with a trip to London for his birthday so we got to spend an afternoon together. It was really good to see her and also gave me chance to give her the ‘little pea’ gifts that I have been putting together for her!!
I have been working on a cute baby hat, Twist Hat by Melissa Goodale, the ever so dainty baby boots Tiny Shoes by Ysolda Teague and a set of socks and scratch mitts all in the gorgeous bright green skein of Wollmeise Superwash I got from Knit Nation, hence the name ’little pea’ !!
I used some really cute yellow toadstool buttons for the boots that I have been saving for something special!!
I am also working on a lovely hooded baby blanket based on the pattern Hooded Baby Blanket by Lion Brand Yarn, photos to come a bit later!!!
