etsy etsy etsy!

After months and months of erming and ahhing and daydreaming and pondering, we did it: we’ve opened an Etsy shop, Loumms Creations! At about 3.28 yesterday afternoon, we went live with our first product in our Grow Your Own Soup range, hurrah!

As you may have guessed, we are pretty avid amateur gardeners. We’re not always successful —  between a sea of aphids and and army of cats, there have been a few disasters. But we’ve learned a lot developing a healthy green glow on our greenfingers and our passion for gardening just keep growing. The Grow Your Own Soup kits are the culmination of heaps of research, much empirical trial and error and a will to get out of the supermarket.

There’s a link to the shop on the sidebar and we’ve added a new page up top, where you can get more information and also take a look at the five kits currently available. Right now we’ve got Pea and Mint, Watercress and Stilton (without the cow, alas!), Carrot and Coriander, and Spicy Tomato Basil. We’ll be updating the GYOS range pretty regularly to keep it seasonal and have a loads of other recipe ranges to come.

We’ve got lots of other things up our sleeves, so keep checking in to see what else we’re up to!

Congrats on opening your Etsy shop! I love the GYOS packages – very good idea. I might have to give my indoor gardening another go. It all got abandoned after I got invaded by bugs.
