Well, last Saturday will go down in Loumms history!
Our first public outing at the Urban Village Fete in Peckham, South London was awesome, and dare we say it, a huge success!
Bobbie and Lola specialise in the cutest little note books, hand-made cards and envelopes (alongside very, very cute aprons and knitted items — Lou: my favourite of hers being the rain cloud card which I am very argry with myseft for not buying!). Emmms scored a Corneto-inspired notebook and some awesome note cards and envelopes,
while Lou picked up this notebook made from a champagne bottle box and old envelopes,
and a ‘happiness is liking people’ tissue pocket from Kitsch Craft. Not just practical, but giving, too: all the proceeds from the day were going towards a local charity. She also showed off her (HAND!) sewing talent with weird and unusual soft toys and interesting cuffs and jewellry (Emmms: which I will forever regret not picking up there and then, thank goodness for Etsy!).
On sale from loumms were our brand new kids and adults aprons, which convert to handy shoulder bags for those who like to keep their tools close.
Our Seed Packs, now bigger and better than before! And as you can see from the stall pic above the plants we’ve grown from the seeds are freaking huge! Check out Lou’s ‘Chillimena’ — her gorgeous chilli plant, which is fruiting beautfully:
We also had our new project bags and rolls!
Thanks so much to Mel who organised the whole thing as it was a purely perfect day!! We Loumms-y gals are full steam ahead planning our next loumms craft day out, and in the meantime, all of our stuff should be avaliable on our new etsy site, madebyloumms.etsy.com, which we’ll have up and running by 14 August (so update your favourites pages!).
