rainy thursday

I stumbled into my kitchen this morning, bleary eyed and mussed of hair, only to discover not only did we not have any coffee in the house but no breakfast foods either. It was far too early to contemplate actually cooking my breakfast (although now that it’s afternoon, some grilled tomatoes and a veggie sausage or two sounds rather tempting), but apparently it is never too early to contemplate baking something fresh.
